چکیده
The dynamics of an axisymmetric liquid bridge stretch are investigated by means numerical simulations, and the results validated experimentally. constant acceleration lower substrate stretches bridge. A simplified simulation model experimental setup is developed for unstructured volume-of-fluid two-phase flow method, which models as a fluid with prescribed retracting substrate. effect stretching acceleration, properties, volume on investigated. It shown that at low length portion greater than upper portion, reversed high acceleration. With increasing viscosity, this decreased becomes more symmetric.

Effect of colloidal Particles associated with the liquid bridge in sticking during drying in Superheated Steam
It is very important in the design of a drying system is to evaluate sticking behaviour of the materials goes under drying. A new approach to the sticking issue is applied in this study by carrying out a sticking test for the liquid associated with the materials under study. It was found that the liquid bridge is responsible of the initial sticking of the materials to the contact surface and th...

Fringing field stretching of a pillared liquid crystal droplet
We demonstrate a liquid crystal (LC) droplet whose surface profile could be deformed by a fringing field. In the voltage-off state, the LC droplet exhibits a pillared shape by touching both substrates. As the voltage increases, such a droplet could be stretched to a cone-like shape or thin film. For a 1.5 mm aperture LC droplet, its occupied area could be expanded by ∼4.3× at 6.5 Vrms μm−1. Upo...
متن کاملGroup Based Asymmetry-A Fast Saliency Algorithm
In this paper, we propose a saliency model that makes two major changes in a latest state-of-the-art model known as group based asymmetry. First, based on the properties of the dihedral group D4 we simplify the asymmetry calculations associated with the measurement of saliency. This results is an algorithm which reduces the number of calculations by at-least half that makes it the fastest among...
متن کاملTwo-phase Boundary Layer Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer of a Dusty Liquid past a Stretching Sheet with Thermal Radiation
The problem of two-phase MHD boundary layer flow, heat and mass transfer over a stretching sheet with fluid-particle suspension and thermal radiation has been studied. The effect of mass transfer in dusty fluid over a stretching sheet is considered for the first time. The governing equations are reduced to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations under suitable similarity transforma...
